Call on the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs by Dr. Christopher Snedden
Renowned Australian academician and scholar Dr. Christopher Snedden, currently Professor at Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies, called on the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs (SAPM), Syed Tariq Fatemi, today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The SAPM outlined the vision of the Prime Minister for greater regional integration and connectivity, in order to unleash the economic and trade potential of the region. He also highlighted the initiatives taken by the Prime Minister for a peaceful neighbourhood, and briefed him about the current regional situation.
Dr. Christopher Snedden welcomed the numerous steps taken by the Government of Pakistan for peace and stability in the region, and expressed his desire to continue working closely with Pakistani academicians and think tanks, on issues of regional and international importance.
