Call on the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs by the Vice President of Heritage Foundation
The Vice President of the US-based think tank, Heritage Foundation, called on the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Syed Tariq Fatemi, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.
The SAPM recalled his productive interaction with the Heritage Foundation during his visit to Washington in July 2015. The SAPM highlighted Pakistan's contribution and sacrifices in the counter terrorism campaign. He also outlined the vision of the Prime Minister for greater regional integration and connectivity, as well as his initiatives for a peaceful neighbourhood.
The SAPM noted that bilateral relations between Pakistan and United States were being further strengthened due to regular interactions between the two sides, at all levels. In the aftermath of Prime Minister's visit to the US in October 2015, a new momentum had been generated in the relations between the two sides.
The Vice President Heritage Foundation appreciated the numerous steps taken by the Government for peace and stability in the region, and expressed his desire to continue working closely with Pakistani think tanks, on issues of regional and international importance.
