He urged the fellow Pakistanis to continue doing their good work for the humanity while keeping the strong Pakistani traditions in mind. The Ambassador while expressing satisfaction at the steady pace of increase in bilateral relations between Pakistan and Brazil, advised the Community to further intensify their individual and collective efforts to promote bilateral cooperation in all fields and also keep projecting a soft image of Pakistan.
Noting with concern the absence of any Community based formal platform to project Pakistani culture and values in Brazil, the Ambassador floated the idea of forming a non-political Pakistan-Brazil Association by the Pakistanis living in Brazil. The Community members welcomed the idea and promised to work towards this cause.
Availing of the opportunity, the Community placed before the Ambassador, a number of issues pertaining to issuance of Machine Readable Passports and other consular matters. The Embassy staff addressed all these issues expeditiously.
At the end of the Reception, special prayers were offered for a brighter future of Pakistan.
