Head of Mission of Pakistan called on H.E. Mr. Sadou Seydou, Minister Commerce Republic of Niger. Mr. Sadou very warmly received and exchange message of greetings and good will.
HoM briefed him on various areas of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries including trade and commercial relation, Pakistani market, product lines and opportunities to increase trade cooperation in different fields i.e. Agricultural product, Textile, Health, Pharmaceuticals, Tanneries, Halal meat, dairy and sugar.
During the call, both dignitaries explore various areas of cooperation including economic and trade opportunities existing between the two countries. Commenting on the bilateral relations between the two countries, Minister stated that both sides are maintaining excellent cooperation at all levels. He emphasized to exchange visits of trade & business delegation between the two countries. He further informed that both countries might finalize a trade agreement after thoroughly studying both markets. He committed to facilitate Pakistani exporters and urged to avail the opportunity of free access to western world due to least Developed Country (LDC) status of Republic of Niger. He informed that he and his delegation visited seven times to Turkey. Resultantly, turkey was given free access to the market. He suggested that Pakistan may enable to assess facilities. Mr. Sadou also appreciated the Pakistan's food assistance program for Niger and requested to continue in Future. He wished new HoM a great success during his stay at Niamey and assured him full cooperation and assistance from the Nigerien side in further enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
