249 remaining stranded Pakistanis in Sudan were flown from Khartoum to Peshawar by PK-7844 today on 16.05.2020. Amb Sarfraz Sipra & Emb team bid farewell to the passengers at Khartoum Airport.

Embassy team led by Ambassador Sarfraz Sipra visited Tabligh Markaz (Bilal Majid) at Khartoum to meet over 100 stranded Pakistanis. They were assured that they are not alone at this critical juncture and the Embassy would extend its full support and assistance. They were apprised about the efforts of government of Pakistan for repatriation of stranded Pakistanis. They were urged to keep the morale high and follow the best preventive measures against Coronavirus. Protective material including masks, gloves and hand sanitizers were distributed among the Pakistanis. Markaz Administration (Bilal Masjid) was lauded by the Ambassador for hosting such large number of Pakistanis with warmth and generosity. The head of Tabligh Markaz Dr Dahab personally received the Embassy team with great enthusiasm. He urged all present to be patient, brave and cautious in these testing times. He prayed for safety and well being of all humankind.
