Memon Welfare Society (MWS) was initially established as Memon Welfare Forum (MWF) in April 2008 by a group of 66 Memon community members based in Jeddah. It was later re-named as Memon Association Saudi Arabia (MASA) in 2009 and subsequently as Memon Welfare Society (MWS). MWS has gained confidence and trust of the community over the years through its charitable cause. The core committee of MWS consists of office bearers which welcomes suggestions, advice and guidance from the community members. During the period of lockdown to contain spread of COVID-19 in the Kingdom, the Society helped destitute Pakistanis families/workers through distribution of food bags (500), provision of twenty (20) one way tickets, payment of outstanding rents (SAR 25,000), medical treatment bills (SAR 5,000) and school fees (SAR 12,000) for underprivileged Pakistanis students.
