On the margins of Plenary Session of 7th Joint Commission led by their Foreign Minister, held on Jan 30-31, 2019 held in Muscat, Pakistan and Oman inked MoUs in a ceremony held during the Plenary Session.
HE Hamed Khamis Al Amri, Under-Secretary (Federal Secretary) for Labour Affairs and Sheikh Said bin Muhammad Al-Saqlawi, President Omani Society for Writers & Literati signed MoUs for Labour & Literature respectively from Omani side & whereas the Ambassador HE Ali Javed, signed on behalf of the government of Pakistan.
MoU for Literature aims to strengthen cooperation among writers, poets, thinkers & social scientists, literary festivals, books exhibitions, conferences, seminars and joint workshops, besides, translating and publishing selected literary works to be uploaded on the websites of the two organisations.
The MoU for Labour & Training foresees exchange of systems, programs, studies and information related to Labour and Training as well as programs that promote employment and integration of the youth in labour market and encouragement of self-employment and individual initiatives.
