Repatriation of stranded Pakistani nationals in Tajikistan by PIA's Special Flight on 29 June 2020
As part of Government of Pakistan's ongoing efforts to repatriate stranded Pakistani nationals from abroad, a second PIA special flight was operated from Dushanbe to Islamabad today.
On this special flight 25 stranded Pakistani nationals were repatriated from Tajikistan to Pakistan.
Some stranded Tajik and Pakistani nationals in Pakistan were also brought in on the same aircraft from Islamabad to Dushanbe.
The Embassy of Pakistan appreciates the cooperation and help extended by the brotherly Government of Tajikistan in facilitating the stay and repatriation of the stranded Pakistanis.
Deputy Head of Mission, Mr. Shahid Ali Seehar and Counsellor, Muhammad Afzal of Pakistan Embassy saw the passengers off at Dushanbe Airport.
