Our Ambassador

H.E. Mr Mushtaq Ali Shah
Born on April, 1960, H.E. Mr. Mushtaq Ali Shah holds Master’s Degree in Economics.
He joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1982 and served at Headquarters as Desk Officer, Director, Director General and finally Additional Foreign Secretary.

He has held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad: Ambassador of Pakistan to Hungary (2005-2009) and Tunisia (2012-2015) before his appointment as Ambassador of Pakistan to Egypt where he assumed his ambassadorial assignment in June 2015.
He is also an author and has written three books on mysticism. He is married and has four children.
