In view of close and cordial relations between Pakistan and Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, would be visiting Pakistan from 10 to 12 November 2013, on the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah would be leading a high level delegation including several Ministers, top government officials and businessmen as well as media personnel.
This visit has a special significance since it would be the first VVIP visit from Kuwait in last seven years. It will give a new impetus to the existing cordial bilateral relations and provide a good opportunity to reinvigorate efforts aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields.
Kuwait also hosts a large Pakistani community which is making positive contribution to the development of Kuwait and is sending remittances supporting Pakistan’s economy as well.
The visit would take place within the framework of relations of friendship and cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as well as mutual desire to strengthen and expand those relations. Several agreements are also expected to be signed.
