2nd session of Pakistan Senegal Joint Business Council, May 27, 2023 , Karachi

2nd session of Pakistan – Senegal Joint Business Council was held on May 27, 2023 at HQ of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), Karachi on sidelines of 4th Textile Expo (Texpo) 2023. Inaugural session of the Pakistan-Senegal Joint Business Council was held in Lahore on the sidelines of the 1st Engineering and Healthcare show in 2022.

The meeting was jointly, chaired by Mr. Abdoulaye SOW, President, Dakar Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (CCIAD), Senegal and Acting President, FPCCI, Mr. Shabbir Hassan Mansha. Acting President FPCCI welcomed the Senegalese delegation to Pakistan and hoped to strengthen the existing linkages. President CCIAD also expressed his desire to work together to strengthen the platform of the Pakistan-Senegal Joint Business Council.

Pakistani businesses from sectors including towels, polyester, house linen, agriculture and plastics attended the meeting and interacted with the Senegalese delegation and discussed the possibilities of enhancing business in these sectors.
