78th NATIONAL DAY OF PAKISTAN

On 23rd March 2018, 78th National Day was celebrated with deep fervor. The ceremony started with the recitation of Holy Quran. Ambassador of Pakistan, Dr. Israr Hussain hoisted the national flag at the Embassy of Pakistan in Prague. Special messages of the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan for National Day were read.

Ambassador Dr. Israr Hussain, while speaking on the occasion, congratulated the community on 78th National Day and alluded to great visionary leadership of Pakistan, which enabled the Muslims of Sub-continent to lead their lives in accordance with Islamic principles. He highlighted great sacrifices rendered by the Muslims of Sub-continent to achieve a separate homeland. Ambassador Hussain expressed with pleasure that Pakistan has achieved great success since its inception and has entered the club of trillion dollar economies. He also reflected upon the efforts made by Government for the betterment of the country. He tersely referred to the challenges and threats faced by Pakistan and impressed upon Pakistani diaspora in Czech Republic to play its role in the development of the country in every possible manner.

A cross section of Pakistani community and Pakistani students studying in Czech Republic attended the flag hoisting ceremony. The guests were served breakfast with traditional Pakistani savories.
