A solemn ceremony was organized by Embassy of Pakistan at Pakistan International School, Cairo (PISC) to pay tribute to martyrs of Army Public School (APS), Peshawar on 16 December 2015. It was attended by members of Pakistani Community, parents of students and the officers and staff members of Embassy. At the outset of ceremony, a student of PISC read out a moving poem giving graphic details of how barbaric mercenaries attacked when the students were busy in their routine academic activities on that unfortunate day. Ambassador Mushtaq Ali Shah in his brief remarks on the occasion reiterated the resolve of Government of Pakistan to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the land. Dua was offered for the martyrs and one minute silence was observed. All students of school and participants lit candles to mark the first anniversary of attack on APS.
