Manzoor Ahmad Chaudhry
Born on March 31, 1964 at Lahore, Pakistan, Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Chaudhry graduated as medical doctor from King Edward Medical College, Lahore in 1988. He was awarded master's degree in political science by the University of the Punjab, Lahore in 2004. He speaks English, French, Urdu and Punjabi.
Mr. Chaudhry joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1996 and has six postings abroad to his credit. He has done four postings in Africa with nearly 14 years staying in the Continent.
He served as Third Secretary at the Embassy of Pakistan, Senegal from 1999 to 2003. In addition to Senegal, he covered following countries for Pakistan; Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Guinea (Conakry), Ivory Coast, The Gambia and Sierra Leone.
Mr. Chaudhry served as Second Secretary at the Embassy of Pakistan, Greece from 2004 to 2007.
He served as First Secretary at the High Commission for Pakistan in Kenya from 2007 to 2011. In addition to Kenya, he covered the following countries for Pakistan; Burundi, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda and represented as Deputy Permanent Representative at the UNEP and UNHABITAT.
Mr. Chaudhry served as Head of Mission at the Embassy of Pakistan, Niger from 2011 to 2015.
He served as Minister/Deputy High Commissioner at the High Commission for Pakistan at Pretoria, South Africa from 2016 to 2018. He covered following additional countries for Pakistan; Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia and Swaziland (Eswatini).
Mr. Chaudhry served as Consul General of Pakistan to Milan, Italy from October 2018 to February 2022.
He served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad as Section Officer in Personnel Division (1998), Deputy Director in Europe Division (2003-2004) and Director for General Services (2015-2016).
He is currently serving as Ambassador of Pakistan to Cote d'Ivoire since February 2022.
He is married to Zahida Manzoor and has two children.
