Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan hosts Aidiladha gathering

THE Acting High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam, Ahmed Ali Sirohey, hosted a gathering at his residence on the first day of Hari Raya Aidiladha.

Among the guests were Bruneians and Pakistani expatriates, including businessmen, professionals from different walks of life, labourers, students in the country, as well as friends and family members of the host.

The occasion included a festive spread of Pakistani dishes and sweet treats for the guests.

The event also saw the slaughter of a goat and distribution of the Korban meat.

It ended with Doa Selamat for His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam as well as the welfare, well-being and unity of Muslim Ummah across the world.
