Mr. Sartaj Aziz, Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, and Syed Tariq Fatemi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, visited the Embassy of Indonesia in Islamabad today to condole the sad demise of H.E. Burhan Muhammad, Ambassador of Indonesia, who succumbed to injuries sustained during the tragic helicopter accident of 8 May in Naltar. Ambassador Burhan was under treatment in a hospital in Singapore.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan, they conveyed heartfelt sympathies, and expressed profound grief on the loss of a trusted friend of Pakistan.
They emphasized that the entire Pakistani nation was praying for the departed soul, and shared the sorrow and suffering of the bereaved family.
They also signed the Condolence Book.
