Adviser Meets with the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan
The Adviser on Foreign Affairs met with H.E. Rasit Meredow Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan on the sidelines of the 42nd OIC Council of Ministers meeting in Kuwait on 28th May 2015.
The two Ministers discussed follow up action on the agreements and understandings reached during the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Turkmenistan. They agreed to intensify cooperation in the areas identified, including the laying of rail and road networks and gas pipelines connecting the two countries via Afghanistan with possible participation by other Central Asian countries.
