Afghanistan’s Finance Minister calls on Foreign Minister

Afghan Finance Minister, Dr. Hazrat Omar Zakhailwal called on Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on 17 January 2012. They discussed bilateral relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan and progress made at the 8th session of the Joint Economic Commission held at Islamabad on 16-17 January 2011. The two sides discussed issues related to transit trade, regional connectivity and development and reconstruction projects funded by Pakistan in various parts of Afghanistan. Both sides expressed support for CASA-1000 project which is now at feasibility stage.
