• Born in 1963. Holds degrees in MBBS and M.A (Political Science).
• Joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1991.
• Served at Headquarters as Protocol Officer (1993-1994 & 1996-1997).
• Served as Section Officer (2002-2003)
• Served as Director (2010-2013)
• Served as Director General (2013-2014)
• Remained on deputation with the President’s Secretariat  (2001-2002).
• Held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad: Zagreb and Sarajevo (1997-2001), Berne (2004-2006) and Zahidan (2007-2009).
• Served as Consul General at Vancouver (2014-2020).
• Served as Additional Secretary (Europe) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from October 2020 to January 2022.
• Married with four children
