Ambassador Ayesha Ali presented her credentials to the President of the Czech Republic Mr. Petr Pavel

Her Excellency Ambassador Ayesha Ali presented her credentials to the President of the Czech Republic Mr. Petr Pavel today at Prague Castle in a traditional ceremony. The ceremony included playing the Pakistani National Anthem and inspection of the Guard of Honour by Ambassador Ayesha Ali.

Following the customary ceremony and introduction of delegations which included Officials of the Pakistan Embassy and Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the members of the Czech Presidency, the Czech President and the Ambassador had a one-on-one meeting to discuss all matters of mutual concern.

In the meeting, both sides commented on the robust and positive relations between Pakistan and the Czech Republic and exchanged views on new opportunities to increase bilateral trade and investment, cooperation in multiple sectors including Renewable Energy, Information Technology, Transport, Mining and Agriculture etc. Discussions were also held to strengthen cooperation in education and cultural spheres.
