Ambassador of Pakistan, Malik Muhammad Farooq, held a “e-Katchery” with Pakistani community living in the Republic of Estonia on 04 June 2021. More than 50 expatriate Pakistanis participated in the event.

On the occasion, the Ambassador briefed in detail benefits of the Roshan Digital Account (RDA) scheme introduced by the Government of Pakistan for non-resident Pakistanis across the world. The Ambassador encouraged them to avail the benefits provided by the Government. The initiative provides them an opportunity to be a partner in Pakistan’s economic recovery and growth. He said that RDA initiative was also a mean to strengthen bondage with Pakistan. He appreciated the participation of Pakistanis and asked them to share information about RDA with their friends.

During the virtual session, the diaspora also discussed their issues relating to consular matters i.e. issuance/ renewal of passports, NICOPs, etc. They also gave useful suggestions for providing better consular services. The Ambassador welcomed their suggestions and assured them all possible assistance by the Embassy.

In accordance with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Embassy regularly reaches-out to the communities based in Poland, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.
