“An exhibition titled “Twilling Tweeds” has been organized by Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre, Kuwait 11-14 May, 2018. Twilling Tweeds is a cross cultural initiative set up by textile designer Adil Iqbal, who is based in Scotland but of Pakistani ascendancy. The projects connects the weavers of the Outer Hebrides, Scotland, with female embroiderers of Chitral, Pakistan.
The Ambassador of Pakistan to Kuwait, H.E. Mr. Ghulam Dastgir attended the inaugural session of the exhibition. A large number of visitors from different communities have shown their interest in the exhibition.”
