An Indian media delegation called on the Foreign Minister Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar at the Foreign Ministry, today.
The Foreign Minister briefed the delegation on the recent developments in Pakistan-India relations. She said that the government of Pakistan was committed to a constructive, sustained and result-oriented process of engagement with India. She also noted that since the resumption of dialogue early last year, there had been a substantial progress, particularly in normalization of trade relations.
Responding to several questions by the members of the delegation, the Foreign Minister underlined the importance of building and an environment of trust between the two countries. She also said that Pakistan could not ignore the importance of the countries of the region and that it wanted to have good relations with all its neighbours including India.
