Annual Consultations between Pakistan and Belarus

Second Round of Annual Consultations between Pakistan and Belarus were held in Islamabad on 8th October 2015. The Belarusian side was led by their Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. Valentine Rybakov. The Pakistan delegation was led by Additional Secretary (Europe) Mr. Nadeem Riyaz.

The two sides discussed the entire gamut of bilateral relations and agreed to further strengthen the existing ties in political, parliamentary, economic and cultural spheres. It was also agreed to further enhance institutional linkages and explore new avenues of cooperation.

There was a frank exchange of views on regional and global issues. The talks were held in a cordial atmosphere in the spirit of mutual cooperation.

The next round of Political Consultations will be held in 2016.
