Appointment of Mr. Abdul Basit as High Commissioner to India
Pakistan has appointed Mr. Abdul Basit as Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India. Mr. Basit joined the Foreign Service in 1982 and has held various assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad and at the Headquarters.
Since May, 2012, Mr. Abdul Basit is Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.
