Appointment of new US Special Representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan
(2013-05-03) The Government of Pakistan welcomes the appointment of Ambassador James F. Dobbins as the new US Special Representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Ambassador Dobbins enjoys the reputation of a seasoned US diplomat who is merited with vast and valuable experience in conflict resolution and management.
We hope that his appointment would help our joint efforts to establish peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
