Belt & Road” Sichuan International Friendship Cities Cooperation and Development Forum

A delegation of Senior Punjab Government officials led by Dr. Salman Shah, Advisor to Chief Minister on Economic Affairs and Planning & Development visited Chengdu on 14-18 November, 2019 to attend 1st “Belt & Road” Sichuan International Friendship Cities Cooperation and Development Forum.

During the visit, Dr. Salman Shah met with Mr. Wang Zhimin, Deputy Director General of CCPIT Sichuan Council sides to exchange ideas on further strengthening friendly exchanges and cooperation between Punjab and Sichuan Provinces in trade & commerce sectors.

A meeting was also held in the Consulate between the Punjab delegation and Chengdu Chamber of Commerce for Commercial Services. During the meeting, both sides conducted an in-depth conversation of practical cooperation in direct flight, investment as well as other fields. Chengdu Chamber was committed to promoting Chengdu-Lahore direct flight. The Advisor extended invitation to Sichuan companies for visiting Pakistan to better understand in exploring Pakistan business market.”
