MAJ. GEN. (R) FARHAT ABBAS SANI

• Born on 22 June 1965.
• Education: Holds MSc and MA degrees in International Relations, Strategic Studies and Art & Science of Warfare.
• Experience: Held various command, Staff and instructional assignments in Pakistan Army.
• He Commanded an Air Defence Division and Logistics Area Rawalpindi and served as Director General, Army Air Defence and Director General, Defence Exports and Promotion Organization.
• He is a graduate of Command & Staff College Quetta, National Defence University, Islamabad and US Army War College.
• Also served as UN Military Observer in Cambodia (1992-1993).
• He served on the faculty of Command & Staff College, Quetta (2003-2006).
• Award: Awarded Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) in recognition of his distinguished and meritorious services.
• Marital Status: Married (1 x son & 1 x Daughter)
