Call of Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan Adriano Chiodi Cianfarani on the Foreign Minister

Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan, Mr. Adriano Chiodi Cianfarani called on Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar today to discuss Pakistan-Italy bilateral relations and the forthcoming visit of the Foreign Minister to Italy for holding bilateral consultations with the Italian Minister for Foreign Affairs Giulio Terzi di Sant’Agata on 1st February 2013.

While appreciating Italy’s support in the European Union for granting Pakistan Autonomous Trade Preferences (ATPs), the Foreign Minister sought the Italian Government’s full support for Pakistan’s inclusion in the GSP Plus scheme. During the meeting, they also discussed various aspects of bilateral relations and underlined the need to further expand and diversify cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
