Call on the Minister of State by the Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)

H.E. Mr. Ri Yong Hwan, the Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) paid a farewell call on Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs today.
The Ambassador extended felicitations to the Minister of State on assuming the office. He thanked the Government of Pakistan for extending support to him during his four years stay in Pakistan.
The Minister of State appreciated the role of Ambassador in promoting friendly ties between the two counties and hoped that his successor will carry on the work further.
Pakistan believes that all disputes in the Korean Peninsula must be solved through peaceful means.
