Celebration of Pakistan National Day 23 March 2018

The Mission held a reception on the occasion of ‘Pakistan National Day’ in a five star Hotel in Minsk, on 23 March 2018. Representatives from the host government, civil society, diplomatic corps, armed forces, media, businessmen and members of Pakistani community in Belarus participated in the function.

This year for wider representation of Pakistani culture and cuisine, the Mission made special efforts to arrange Pakistan folk dance in collaboration with the administration and students of Minsk State Linguistics University (MSLU). Moreover, traditional Pakistani food items were included in the menu. The guests greatly appreciated Pakistani cuisine and folk dance on traditional Pakistani folk music by the Students of MSLU.

Mr. Dimitry Alexander Korchik, Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Charge d Affaires (a.i) of Pakistan and the Chief Guest addressed the audience and highlighted the positive trends in bilateral relations between Pakistan and Belarus.
