Celebration of the Defence Day of Pakistan
The Embassy of Pakistan celebrated the Defence Day of Pakistan in Cairo on 6 September 2015 to pay tributes to the martyrs who laid their lives and salute the veterans who fought to defend and uphold sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan.
A reception was held in the evening at a local hotel which was attended by members of diplomatic corps, local officials, and dignitaries and also members of Pakistani community.
Special media coverage was arranged in the local news papers. The Ambassador of Pakistan Mr. Mushtaq Ali Shah also gave special interviews which were carried by the local print and electronic media.
