Chinese Ambassador calls on Foreign Minister Khar

Chinese Ambassador Liu Jian called on Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar today. During the call, the two discussed bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The Foreign Minister conveyed her appreciation for China’s support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and emphasized that Pakistan and China need to further intensify their economic cooperation.
The Chinese Ambassador assured Pakistan of the continued support and cooperation of China in all spheres.
Foreign Minister Khar extended an invitation to her Chinese counterpart, Mr. Yang Jiechi, to visit Pakistan this year.
