Chinese Red Cross assistance for rehabilitation of the earthquake affectees in Baluchistan

The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, H.E. Mr. Liu Jian, called on the Foreign Secretary this afternoon and presented a cheque for US $50,000 on behalf of the Chinese Red Cross for rehabilitation of the earthquake affectees in Baluchistan.
The Foreign Secretary while thanking the Ambassador and the Chinese Red Cross for the generosity stated that it was reflective of the close and cooperative ties that both Pakistan and China and the friendly people of the two countries enjoy.
