Commemoration of Kashmir Solidarity Day

The High Commission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan organized a programme to commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day on 05 February 2023. Officials of the Mission, members of Pakistani community and Bruneian friends attended the event. Messages of the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan on this occasion were read out by the High Commissioner and Deputy Head of Mission respectively. Both the leaders reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast and unflinching support to Kashmiri brothers and sisters for their just struggle for self-determination.

The people of Pakistan and Kashmiris around the world commemorate 5^th February each year as Kashmir Solidarity Day. They reiterate their persistent support and send a loud and clear message to the world that Kashmiris are not alone in their struggle against the occupying forces.

Pakistan calls upon the international community to play its role to check the egregious human rights violations in IIOJK and ensure just and peaceful settlement of Jammu and Kashmir dispute as per UN Security Council Resolutions and aspirations of Kashmiri people.
