Commodore Asif Khaliq SI(M), Commander Combined Task Force 150 (CCTF-150) and his staff officer Lt. Waqas Bashir paid a goodwill visit to Tanzania, Dar-es-Salaam from 13-16 November 2013. The visit was aimed at sharing views of Combined Maritime Forces Headquarters (CMFH) Bahrain with Tanzanian authorities on challenges emanating from piracy and drug trafficking in the Horn of Africa and the East Africa region.
