Commonwealth Food and Cultural Exhibition

Pakistan High Commission, Kigali participated in the Commonwealth food and cultural exhibition jointly organized by the UK High Commission, Kigali and the Government of the Republic of Rwanda. A large number of Rwandan community notables, students, media, diaspora of commonwealth countries and diplomats attended the event.

A wide range of Pakistani handicrafts was displayed at the event. The beauty of Pakistani handicrafts and the taste of Pakistani cuisine were highly appreciated by the visitors.  Pakistan’s pavilion was visited by a huge number of participants including the UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman, Minster of Youth and Culture, Rosemary Babazi, Meyor of Kigali City Mr. RubingisaPudence, other officials from govt. of Rwanda, High Commissioners/ diplomatic staff of Commonwealth countries and Pakistani diaspora in Kigali. The event was first of its kind and provided a good opportunity to showcase Pakistani culture, handicrafts soft image.
