“It is with profound sadness that I have learnt of the death of Baroness Margaret Thatcher.

On behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, I would like to express our deepest condolences to the Government and people of Great Britain and to her family. We share their loss.

In Baroness Thatcher’s passing away, Britain has lost a great leader. She was among the most influential politicians of her times.

While sharing the grief, our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
