I am shocked to learn that a strong earthquake struck the province of Sistan-Balochistan today, resulting in loss of precious lives and property.

On behalf of the people of Pakistan and my own behalf, please accept my most sincere condolences.

I am confident that the great Iranian nation will overcome this calamity with courage and fortitude. In this hour of grief, the people of Pakistan stand by their Iranian brethren.
