Condolence Message on Earthquake in Sichuan Province of China by the Prime Minister addressed to the Premier of the state Council of the People’s Republic of China

On behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan and on my own behalf, I wish to extend our deepest condolences at the loss of precious lives and damage to property as a result of earthquake which hit Southwestern China this morning.

Our prayers and sympathies are with the bereaved families and all those affected by natural disaster. We are confident that the brave people of china will be able to cope with this calamity in the shortest possible time.
