Curated Round Table with Queen Maxima of the Netherlands as UNSGA Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development – November 25 2019

In cognizance of Queen Máxima of the Netherlands role as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA) and this being the context of her visit to Pakistan, Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi hosted an introductory roundtable for the Queen at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs focussed specifically on Inclusive Finance for the Development of Women. To this, the Foreign Minister’s roundtable consisted of 4 powerhouse entrepreneurs focussed on the financial inclusion and development of women specifically in Pakistan ranging from social entrepreneurship, technology, education and energy including Sadaffe Abid, founder of CIRCLE, Khalida Brohi, Founder of Sughar Foundation, Fiza Farhan, expert on women empowerment and Shehzad Roy, founder of Zindagi Trust.
