The Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Andrei Kobyakov will lead a high powered delegation to Islamabad on 9-11 November 2015. This will be the first ever visit by a Belarus Prime Minister to Pakistan.
During the visit, Prime Minister Kobyakov will hold official talks with Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, who will also host a lunch in honour of the visiting dignitary. Several important Agreements/MoUs are also expected to be signed. The President of Pakistan will host a banquet in honour of the visiting Prime Minister.
A large businessmen delegation would precede the Prime Minister’s entourage, for participating in the Third Pakistan-Belarus Business and Investment Forum, that will be held on 10 November 2015.
Pakistan and Belarus enjoy close and cordial relations. The Prime Minister of Pakistan visited Belarus in August 2015. Earlier, the Belarus President Mr. Alexander Lukashenko had paid a State visit to Pakistan in May this year.
Prime Minister Kobyakov’s visit will help in strengthening the existing ties between the two countries.
