Two C-130 aircrafts loaded with 24 tons of relief supplies left Chaklala Airport for Tokyo at 8:30 hours today.
The relief items include 13.5 tons high power biscuits, 9 tons milk packs and 1.5 tons mineral water. The consignment was seen of by Syed Hasan Javed, Additional Secretary (AP) and H.E Mr. Chihiro Atsumi, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan. Acting Chairman (NDMA) was also present at the occasion.
The Ambassador of Japan expressed thanks for provision of timely assistance.
Pakistanstands ready to provide any assistance to help our Japanese friends in future as well.
