Do’s

• In case a Bosnian offers to perform an act of favor for you, accept their kindness graciously
• Keep your travel documents along, while traveling within Bosnia & Herzegovina.
• Park the vehicle only in designated parking lots

Don’ts

• Do not make comments with disrespectful undertone.
• Avoid carrying large sums of cash.
• Don’t store cash, jewelry, medicine or other valuables in your luggage, and do not leave your luggage unattended.

REPUBLIC OF CROATIA

Do’s

• Do pick up some basic Croatian phrases for use in the country
• Traffic rules are quite strictly enforced in Croatia. Do remain vigilant while driving
• Keep your travel documents along, while traveling within Croatia

Don’ts

• Avoid discussions about personal wealth or the national economic status
• Do not smoke in public places such as restaurants, complexes and public transportation
