Holds two Masters degree in English Literature from Pakistan and Human Rights from Australia
Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1996
Served at Headquarters as Section Officer (Japan & Korea, USA & Latin Americas), Deputy Director/ Director (National Assembly and Senate Affairs; Disarmament and General Services)
Held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad including Pakistan Mission to the United Nations in New York (1998-99) Abu Dhabi (2001-2006), New Delhi (2009-2012), Madrid (2012-2016) and Tehran (2016-2019)
He is married with two children
