The Embassy of Pakistan, Rome organized a function to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi at its premises, today.

The event commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran. Mr. Shoaib Sarwar Shandu, Third Secretary spoke about the significance of the day and showered rich praise on the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

As the function coincided with the birth anniversary of Poet philosopher Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the Head of Chancery, Mr. Salman Pervaiz read the message of the President to the audience.

Naats were recited and the key note addressed on the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was delivered by Allama Syed Ghulam Mustafa Mashadi, Director, Minhaj ul Quran International, Brescia, Italy.

Special prayers were offered for the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir, peace in the region and for the well-being of Pakistan.

Guests were hosted to a dinner. The event was deeply appreciated by members of the Pakistani community.
