Embassy Interacts with Local Think Tanks

On 13th February 2014, the Embassy of Pakistan in Hanoi arranged a briefing for the local intellengstia, including professors of local universities, university students, faculty members and students of Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, journalists, scholars and local think-tanks and briefed them on Pakistan’s achievements in the past few years and the way forward.

2.         During the detailed briefing which was given by Mr. Aizaz Khan, First Secretary, all facets of Pakistan’s recent achievements, including economic growth, women’s emmancipation, fight gainst terrorism and various other spheres were elaborated.

3.         At the end of the briefing, during Questions and Answers session Ambassador Zaigham Uddin Azam answered questions from the participants ranging from Pakistan’s internal situation, how it was tackling the problem of terrorism, achievements of Pakistan in the last five years including the measures taken by the present government in all fields and importance of Kashmir issue.

4.         The participants at the end enjoyed light refreshments and had an informal interaction with the Ambassador, where he further answered many of their queries regarding important issues relating to Pakistan.
