The outgoing Chief Military Observer and Head of Mission of the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP), Major General Delali Johnson Sakyi, made a farewell call on Ms. Tasnim Aslam, Additional Secretary (UN&EC) and Mr. Asim Iftikhar Ahmed, Director General (UN) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs toady.
The Additional Secretary congratulated the Chief Military Observer on successful completion of his tenure and underlined the importance Pakistan continued to attach to the work of UNMOGIP. She also conveyed her best wishes to the Chief Military Observer for his future assignments.
The Chief Military conveyed his appreciation for the cooperation and support extended to him and the Mission by the Government of Pakistan.
