The outgoing Ambassador of Nepal in Pakistan, Ambassador Bharat Raj Paudyal, paid a farewell call on the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs (SAPM), at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.
The Special Assistant underscored that Pakistan regarded Nepal as an important friend and a close regional partner, and the two countries enjoyed excellent cooperation in diverse fields. He also emphasized the fact that the two countries had stood with each other during difficult times. The SAPM highlighted Prime Minister’s initiatives for regional peace and stability, and his strong commitment to maintaining cordial relations with all neighbouring countries.
He commended the invaluable contribution made by the outgoing Ambassador towards further strengthening the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Nepal, during the course of his stay in Pakistan.
Ambassador Paudyal expressed his gratitude for the cooperation and support extended to him by the Government of Pakistan during the tenure of his assignment, which he described as most pleasant and productive.
