Flag Hoisting Ceremony On The Occasion of 76th Independence Day of Pakistan

On the occasion of 76^th Independence Day of Pakistan, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at Embassy of Pakistan, Prague, Czech Republic. Ambassador Mr. Muhammad Khalid Jamali hoisted the flag and messages by the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan were read out.

The ceremony was attended by the Pakistani diaspora, including a large number of students, Pakistani entrepreneurs with families and also prominent Czech Business persons.

In the messages delivered on behalf of the President and Prime Minister it was conveyed that Pakistan gained independence after the historic struggle of the Muslims of the sub-continent under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. This day marked the culmination of a democratic and political struggle in our quest for freedom and also gave us the opportunity for introspection to reflect on the nation’s progress so far, prevailing challenges, and opportunities for growth.

It was also highlighted that on our independence day we have not forgotten the plight of our brothers and sisters of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJ&K) and we firmly resolve to continue our unwavering support to their right of self determination.

Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Pakistani community for their participation and congratulated them on the joyous occasion.
